About Beresford's Mobile Mechanics in the Midlands & South Yorkshire

We’re a mobile mechanic service based in the Chesterfield area, covering a wide radius that takes in Sheffield, Rotherham, Mansfield, Nottingham, and everywhere in between. Rather than asking you to come to us, we come to you – to your driveway, your workplace car park, or wherever your vehicle happens to be.

Who we are

Beresford's Mobile Mechanics was established in 2024 and has quickly built a reputation for straightforward, trustworthy mechanical work. We’re IMI qualified, family run, and built around a straightforward principle: do good work, be honest with people, and make the whole experience as easy as possible.

We work on all makes and models of cars, vans up to 3.5 tonnes, and motorcycles, including hybrids.

The mobile difference

Our workshop van isn’t just transport, it’s a fully kitted-out mobile unit carrying the tools, equipment, and diagnostic technology needed to handle most jobs at the roadside or on your driveway. That includes professional-grade diagnostic scanning, so if something’s flagging on your dashboard, we can read it properly rather than guessing.

For customers who want their vehicle seen to during the working day, we can come to your place of work. We also offer group bookings, so if several colleagues all need a service or check, we can visit your workplace in one go and work through the vehicles together. It’s a popular option, and it also works particularly well for businesses with small fleets.

Honest, transparent service

We don’t tell customers their car needs work it doesn’t need. If something isn’t urgent, we’ll say so. If you can hold off on a repair for a few months without risk, we’d rather tell you that than sell you something unnecessary.

That approach matters to us, and it’s something customers consistently tell us they value. We’re particularly mindful of creating an environment where anyone can ask questions without feeling talked down to or pressured.

Servicing and warranties

We follow manufacturer service schedules for all servicing work, which means your vehicle’s warranty remains protected. We use original equipment parts or approved equivalents, and we’re happy to source parts from your main dealer if that’s your preference.

Our servicing covers the full range: major, full, interim, and oil and filter services, all carried out to the intervals and specifications set by your manufacturer.

Flexible hours

We understand that standard working hours don’t suit everyone, so out-of-hours appointments are available on request – just get in touch and we’ll do our best to find something that works.

Our area
